To drive the strategic process related to 3rd party due diligence procedures for company agents, distributors and vendors to ensure proper compliance with corporate policies & procedures. This role reports to Senior Manager – Compliance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Assisting with due diligence procedures for company agents, distributors and other 3rd parties where required, to ensure proper compliance with corporate policies & procedures.
  • Reviewing 3rd party due diligence assessments for new company partners, and re-assessments of existing business partners.  This includes internal information and external data, screening, and follow up related to 3rd party due diligence issues and red-flags, when noted.
  • Ensuring all relevant documentation supporting the initiation of new or ongoing relationships with 3rd party business relationships is duly obtained, confirmed, and archived.  
  • Staying abreast / knowledgeable of key compliance and ethics-related Corporate policies, and for promoting these values throughout the organization. 
  • Periodically assisting with regional training in compliance-related topics.
  • Compiling ad-hoc reviews and analyses as required by Compliance management.
  • Supporting compliance investigations.
  • Will require travel to both domestic and international locations, approximately 75-80%.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • CPA with a strong knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards, accounting principles, and a basic understanding of corporate income tax regulations. 
  • Forensic Accounting / Fraud Examiner qualifications, with experience performing investigations.
  • Effective writing skills in order to communicate review / investigation findings and recommendations.
  • Four to eight years of auditing experience in a supervisory role.
  • Public and industry experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with people from all levels of an organization, both international and domestic.
  • Must maintain the highest level of integrity, ethics, and objectivity.
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin), Spanish, or Portuguese is desired.
  • Understanding of computerized information systems.  SAP experience a plus

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
