Our client is seeking a Project/Application Engineer – Mechatronics for their Farmington Hills, Michigan facility.

JOB DESCRIPTION



As the Project/Application Engineer you will use your superior project management skills to help define the scope of projects, conduct risk assessments, manage budgets, assign tasks, organize and hold meetings, and maintain program timing. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining internal and external customer open item lists and program timing. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to work with team members, other departments, and senior and executive management.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Production) preferred
• Experience with: electric actuators, BLCD motors, electric auxiliary drivers, starters, generations, E-coolant pumps, and E-compressors is preferred
• Knowledge of program management
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel and MS Power Point
• Excellent understanding of automotive programs and requirements (APQP)

QUALIFICATIONS
