JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:

Required Certifications: BLS/ACLS/PALS • Required Skills/Experience: Previous PACU/Critical care • 18 bay unit • • Nursing ratios depends on what phase of recovery patient is in and type of procedure according to ASPAN standards. • Nurses on the unit will Pre op and post op for the night and weekend shifts. • • This is a very fast paced unit, candidate must be able to multi-task with multiple patients. Frequent holding of post op patients overnight when rooms aren’t available. • • The shift will cover every other weekend 2 (12s) 7p-7a and 2 (8s) during the week either 3p-11p or 11p-7a depending on departmental staffing needs.
