We have worked with this client for many years. They're searching for someone ideally out of an ADM, Cargill, Bunge, Kerry or a related food ingredients company. Finished Product is not what they want.
Our client has a large food ingredients plant located in the Indianapolis / Lafayette Indiana area. They're in search of a strong Quality Assurance Manager for this site. In this role you will develop and manage Quality Assurance programs and activities including all company, federal, HACCP and GMP, integrate quality assurance and quality control into all functions and people, and take the lead on customer audits.
Bachelor of Science degree in an applicable field
6+ years of related Quality Assurance experience in a food manufacturing environment
2 to 3 years' experience as a people manager
Formal HACCP, Quality System training is strongly preferred.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or concerns from customers, regulatory agencies, and/or members of the business community.
Strong chemistry and microbiological background
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or customers.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
A working knowledge of computers and business software such as and Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SAP is preferred.
Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
