Description:

The Enterprise Risk Management Specialist position is be tasked with gathering data and key financial metrics for Enterprise Risk Management reporting and internal consulting. The employee will work to develop a strong understanding of the full cycle processes within the operational groups, fee/income line of business or other assigned areas; will assist other team members with on-going or ad-hoc plan needs and will actively contribute in standing meetings both within the group and with our business and control partners.

  1. Develop robust working knowledge in assigned area operations, establish robust lines of communication with operational group, fee/income line of business or other assigned areas business and control partners.
  2. Manage standing and ad-hoc ERM reporting packages, increase detailed understanding of the service offerings of all operational group, fee/income line of business or other assigned areas advisory programs.
  3. Identify, track and update mission critical remediation tasks and work deliverables.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

  1. Capability to interact with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology, and the respective line of business in developing practical answers that effectually address root causes of issues identified
  2. Aptitude to document business processes, identify possible gaps and propose solutions to remedy gaps
  3. Strong desire to learn, lead, adapt and navigate a highly visible and challenging environment
  4. Robust financial and business process acumen to rapidly understand a multifaceted bank business and operating areas
  5. Solid project management skills to coordinate, lead and actively participate in assigning tasks roles, milestones and deliverables
  6. Capacity to work independently and effectively manage and monitor issues and remediation from identification through to conclusion

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  1. Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Business Administration
  2. Robust documentation skills and ability to very clearly articulate message, equally written and verbally
  3. Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and drive projects to completion
  4. SAS, Tableau and SQL proficient
  5. Advanced Excel user comfortable using Macros, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables and other analytical tools is required.
  6. 2 or more years supporting analytics for a line of business

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
