JOB DESCRIPTION

We are working with a stable successful, growing biotechnical manufacturer that is a provider of complex custom engineering solutions for global customers. They partner with 15+ of the largest Pharmaceutical manufacturers in the world, provided top notch technical solutions, products, service & support.

This privately held organization (500+ employees globally) is seeking a high energy, strategic, innovative Business Unit Manager. We need a strong leader who can manage and direct the business unit globally, holding P&L responsibility and setting strategic vision, mission and overall direction as they continue to grow. The company has tripled in size in the past 5 years and is poised to grow more.

The Business Unit Manager will be directly responsible for the growth and business development of an Integrated Systems product line. The BU Manager will hold total P&L responsibility including financial, strategy, production operations, human resources, engineering, sales & marketing and IT.  This position is directly accountable for achieving both Plant and Business Unit Operations objectives for growth, profitability, quality and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a hands-on, visible leader, who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and be out with the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS degree in Engineering or Business required (MBA preferred)
  • 6-8 years Engineering, Marketing, New Product Development experience
  • 2-3 years supervisory/management experience
  • Experience in managing large projects $20 – 100 million in size involving design and build of process equipment – tanks, pressure vessels, piping, control systems – used in chemical, food, pharmaceutical type plants.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to travel globally

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
